We are an
animal welfare association and our goal is to help animals in need on Crete. Some of the many problems we
face are
- hungry and pregnant
strays
- poisoning
- sick and hurt animals
- uninformed animal owners
Our
association needs your help. Our goals so far include
- castration programs
- re-homing programs
- education programs for schools
- information leaflets on animal care
There are
many ways to help including
- giving a home
to one of our dogs
- paying for a castration
- buying a travel
cage for our association
- becoming a
member of our association or making a donation
- taking an
injured animal to the vet
- escorting one
of our dogs to your country for re-homing by a foster home or shelter that
cooperate with us
- informing the
police when observing maltreated animals
With your
ongoing support and the cooperation with “ARCHE NOAH” in Germany, that
ended in October 2005, up to now as an animal welfare association we were able
to
- castrate about 5000 dogs and cats
- re-home more than 2000 animals
- veterinary treat many injured strays
- vaccinate the
animals before their journey abroad, buy their travel boxes and pay for
travel expenses
- buy medication
as vaccines, worming pills and parasite spray
Please continue to support us!
